1. Introduction

Welcome to Clipper AI. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Clipper AI application, website, processing services, and related features (the "Service"). By installing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

Clipper AI helps you import long-form video, identify potential short clips, generate transcripts and captions, reframe video, edit results, export finished clips, and publish through supported connected accounts.

AI-assisted suggestions and outputs are generated automatically. Features, supported sources and destinations, usage limits, and processing availability may change over time.

3. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum legal age in your jurisdiction, to use the Service.

You may create an account with email and password or use a supported account sign-in option. You are responsible for providing accurate information, keeping your credentials secure, and for activity under your account. Notify us through Contact Support if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

4. Your Videos and Content

You retain ownership of videos, audio, text, artwork, overlays, and other content you upload or create.

You grant us a limited license to host, copy, transmit, analyse, modify, render, and display that content solely as needed to provide, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the Service for you. This license ends when the content is deleted, except for limited backup retention and records required by law.

You must have all rights and permissions required to upload, process, edit, and publish your content. This includes permission from people shown or heard in a video when consent is required, and any necessary rights to music, footage, logos, artwork, and other protected material.

5. AI-Assisted Results

Clip suggestions, transcripts, captions, scores, headlines, and reframing may be incomplete, inaccurate, unexpected, or unsuitable for your purpose. Scores are creative recommendations, not guarantees of audience performance.

You are responsible for reviewing every output before exporting or publishing it, including checking facts, names, timing, captions, crop position, rights, and platform suitability.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Upload, create, or publish unlawful, infringing, fraudulent, abusive, hateful, harassing, sexually exploitative, or otherwise harmful material
Create deceptive impersonations or manipulated media intended to mislead people about real events or individuals
Process private or confidential recordings without authorization
Violate intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, contractual, or platform rights
Circumvent credits, subscription entitlements, storage limits, rate limits, or security controls
Reverse-engineer, scrape, overload, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the Service
Use automated means outside the interfaces we provide
Resell or provide access to the Service without written permission

We may refuse processing, remove content, restrict features, or suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create risk for the Service or others.

Connecting a social account authorizes Clipper AI to access only the permissions shown during that platform's authorization flow. Publishing occurs only when you initiate it.

You are responsible for the caption, privacy setting, audience, rights, disclosures, and compliance of anything you publish. Connected platforms are independent services governed by their own terms, rules, and availability. We are not responsible for a platform rejecting, removing, delaying, or changing a post.

8. Subscriptions, Credits, and Billing

Clipper AI offers free usage and paid Starter and Pro subscriptions. Current plan features, credit allowances, billing periods, and local prices are shown in the app before purchase.

Billing: Purchases are processed through the App Store and charged to your Apple Account at confirmation.
Renewal: Auto-renewing subscriptions continue unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
Cancellation: Manage or cancel a subscription in your App Store account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period.
Refunds: Refund requests are handled by Apple under its policies. We cannot issue App Store refunds directly.
Credits: Credits measure processing usage, have no cash value, are not transferable, and may expire or refresh according to the plan terms shown before purchase.
Restoration: Restore Purchases in the app can re-check eligible App Store purchases associated with your Apple Account.

We may change future pricing or plan features with notice where required. Changes do not override rights provided by applicable law or the App Store.

9. Project Storage and Availability

Unsaved completed projects may expire after the period displayed in the app. Saving a project keeps it in your account subject to storage limits, account status, and these Terms. You are responsible for exporting and backing up finished clips that you need to keep.

Processing times vary with source length, format, demand, network conditions, and third-party availability. Do not rely on the Service as the only copy of important source footage.

10. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled and is incorporated into these Terms.

11. Intellectual Property

Clipper AI, including its software, design, branding, interfaces, and service technology, belongs to AGI Applications or its licensors. These Terms do not grant you ownership of the Service or the right to copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative services from it.

Feedback you voluntarily provide may be used to improve Clipper AI without obligation to you, but you retain ownership of any original content included in that feedback.

12. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third-party providers for functions such as cloud infrastructure, authentication, AI processing, purchase and subscription management, source imports, and social publishing. Those providers may have their own terms and privacy policies, and their availability is outside our control.

Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them as applicable to your use of the iOS app.

13. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. WE DISCLAIM IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every video, link, format, device, or destination, or that AI-assisted output will be accurate, unique, lawful, or successful on a social platform.

14. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AGI APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF DATA, REVENUE, PROFITS, GOODWILL, OR OPPORTUNITY ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not permit certain exclusions or limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

15. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and may delete your account in Settings. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, misuse the Service, fail to pay applicable charges, or create material risk to users, third parties, or the Service.

16. Changes

We may update these Terms to reflect product, legal, or operational changes. The current version will remain available on this page. Continued use after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.

17. General

These Terms are governed by applicable law, without limiting mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
